About the Host:

Rebecca Boyar has an extensive and varied career in horticulture, spanning nearly 35 years. She began managing an herb farm on the West Coast in the early ’90s, went on to launch Canada’s first urban hydroponic training facility, and developed a non-profit horticultural program. She later worked in agricultural brokerage, specializing in non-GMO and organic production, and served as a Master Grower and Health Canada-approved Quality Assurance Processor in the cannabis industry. Today, she represents West Coast Seeds in eastern Ontario, sharing her expertise in sustainable growing practices.
